Colors Like a Busy Country Quilt

JEFFREY: “Can you explain your use of color as a painter?”

DIANA: “Colour…. Well I’ve had it drummed into me as far back as I can remember to keep colours clean, use separate brushes so they don’t get muddy. My Grandmother, who taught me to paint, had/has very strong views on colour (In fact she wrote a book about it.) So I guess some often rubbed off on me but for me, personally. Its about balance and entirely depends on what kind of mood I want to create.”
