#FlashTag Example I

#FlashTag @monologging Wind whipped the fluff atop his head & rattled the tabloid flyers clinging to the wall.

#FlashTag @diranasaurus “Is it Thursday yet?” He anxiously pushed his tongue into his crooked teeth, rubbing scar tissue on enamel.

#FlashTag @JeffreyFBarken “Wake up!” Molly said, walking faster. “Let’s get you coffee,” she added, glancing back at her dragging husband.

#FlashTag @diranasaurus Cliff used to be a physicist. Now his aging wife coddled his aging self, shuttling him to and fro, doctor to doctor.

#FlashTag @JeffreyFBarken  Inside Katz’s diner, clever Cliff sipped his coffee. “Your meds,” Molly said, sliding his pills across the table.

#FlashTag @diranasaurus Cliff took his pills one by one. He paused, pursed lipped. He asked the stranger sitting with him, “Is it Thursday?”

#FlashTag Example II

#FlashTag @monologging “I’d rather eat a coyote’s paw than get out of this bed right now.”

#FlashTag @JeffreyFBarken “Marty, get up. Grab your cans & let’s fetch nickles. Gonna be cold tonight & I’m not sleeping in the park.”

#FlashTag @diranasaurus Marty grunted. “Quit fretting me. We ain’t gonna worry about no park tonight. I got it all worked out.”

#Flashtag @JeffreyFBarken By noon, Harry was nervous about Marty’s plan. “We didn’t think this through,” he said. “I’m hungry.”

#FlashTag @diranasaurus Marty sighed. The wads of cash he envisioned dissipated, replaced by a cold park bench. His stomach agreed.

#FlashTag @JeffreyFBarken Then hope glimmered. The wealthy man they’d waited for emerged on the path. “That’s him,” Marty said. “Look alive”
