– Monologue by Marty Johnson –

The Pandemic revealed the fragility of supply lines worldwide. From the small neighborhood shipping office where we mail our parcels, to the bottlenecked ports where imports pile up, the fabled phrase “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds,” has never rung more true. The below monologue chronicles one small business owner’s efforts to build community, bolster partner stores, and offers a window into the teamwork and problem solving ethos that distinguishes workers in a vital profession.
