Allison Baldwin
Allison Baldwin is a third year masters student in the Curriculum and Teaching department at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. Before attending Teachers College, she obtained her BA in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey where she spent three years working as a staff writer and editor for the campus newspaper, The Rutgers Observer. She is currently working on a thesis about representations of (dis)ability and is interested in galvanizing more voices for the expansion of diversity in literature and other popular media. Additionally, Allison is also a choral singer and aspiring poet. She has recently done several solo performances at Teachers College. In her spare time, Allison is a chocolate lover, children’s book enthusiast, and notebook hoarder.
